Incredible India - Tour Packages

Incredible India – A country famous for its diverse culture and heritage. As one journeys around the states and regions of India it is all too apparent that, despite the boundaries established by an independent nation, this is land marked and divided by dramatic contrasts in terrain, history, culture and religious beliefs. To the west, the desert landscapes of Rajasthan and Gujarat are home to itinerant shepherds and proud farmers as well as the progeny of their once diving rulers. In the north, the Himalayan mountain range, thought to be the abode of the gods, feeds the waters of the scared Ganges, which runs to the sea along an immense alluvial plain densely peopled by Hindu and Muslim alike. the eastern lands that line the route of the Ganges are also thronged with busy villages. All around, states such a Manipur, Nagaland and Assam, as well as the deep interior of Orissa and south-eastern lands Madhya Pradesh, are populated largely by the earlier inhabitants of India, known officially as 'tribal' whose arts and crafts are wholly alien to the later Aryan-dominated culture. Beyond Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, the south begins: amid rice fine-boned and courteous Dravidian peoples are devoted to the maintenance of their independent culture and language.
